14 Minutes of Gameplay from Ukiyo no Shishi

Famitsu recently revealed 14 minutes of gameplay from Ukiyo no Shishi, the Playstation 3 sibling of Spike Chunsoft’s Ukiyo no titles. The below videos include samurai battles, story scenes, and the special ukiyoe painting engine that lets players take snapshots of the game in the style of traditional Japanese paintings.

Ukiyo no Shishi (more here) is set to release on the Playstation 3 in Japan two days from now, on January 29; and Ukiyo no Roushi (more here) will be available for the Playstation Vita on February 11. Both games are action-adventures set in the same milieu, but they have different stories and characters.
