Ancient Space is a Hot New Sci-fi RTS from Paradox Interactive

Paradox Interactive have revealed the first gameplay for Ancient Space, their upcoming full 3D single player RTS.

Featured above, you can view the gameplay trailer for Ancient Space, although the main focus of the video itself is the giant capital ship – the Ulysses II. The ship itself provides a host of features, although it mostly exists as a mobile factory of sorts, and your command center. The team at Paradox Interactive liken the Ulysses II to the Millenium Falcon, or the Serenity.

A multitude of sci-fi actors are going to lend their vocal talent in the game, some of the names confirmed so far are: Dina Meyer, Ron Glass, John Billingsley, Richard Gunn and Aaron Douglas. Instead of trying to make a grand scale sci-fi epic, the team is attempting to recreate that feeling of a tightly knit crew, something more along the lines of a NASA mission.

Ancient Space is coming to PC September 23rd.
