Closed Alpha Testing for Albion Online has Begun

German developer Sandbox Interactive has confirmed that closed alpha testing for their medieval sandbox-MMORPG, Albion Online, is beginning today. Featured above, you can sample a gameplay trailer that can give you a quick run down of what to expect in game.

If you’ve never heard of the game until today or if you missed out on getting into the closed alpha – fear not! The developers are streaming various portions of gameplay live, during the game’s closed alpha launch. For now, the team suggests checking out the following channels:

When the livestreams are up and running, the developers at Sandbox Interactive will answer fans’ questions and even give away some alpha keys! If you want to still get in on the action, you can find more information here via the game’s official website.

Albion Online is currently in development for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices – although a release date is TBA.
