Draw Me A Pixel, the indie minds behind There is no Game are now developing a stretchy spin-off adventure called Crushed in Time.
Crushed in Time is an unorthodox point and click adventure game where your job is to help Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick Dr. Watson by manipulating the elastic world around them.
While stretching and launching objects in the environment, players will act as an invisible force helping Sherlock and Watson along through their unfinished game.
While the game narrative involves time travel, you won’t be clashing swords with medieval knights or running away from dinosaurs. Time travel will be limited to the development time of video game production. Much like their previous title, There is no Game, meta-narrative will be the focal point of your experience. So expect alternative art-styles and lots of 4th wall breaking.
The game will release in 2026 on Windows and Mac (via Steam), then iOS and Android soon after, and lastly the Switch version will be released at a later point in time.
