Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake

Publisher Square Enix and developer Artdink have announced a Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, a new high-definition remaster of the original two Dragon Quest games.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is launching sometime in 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.

It’s worth noting Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II are chronologically after Dragon Quest III, which is a prequel – so it makes sense for Square Enix to remake the games in this order.
