Publisher Square Enix and developer NHN PlayArt have announced new puzzle game Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi for smartphones.

A Dragon Quest book and stationary store comes to life, as erasers based on classic monsters and heroes stop a cursed pencil from scribbling on books to summon monsters. The game will be free-to-play, and support multiplayer.

Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi is coming to both iOS and Android devices sometime this year in Japan – a worldwide release is also planned.
