Skewer Your Enemies With Just the Tip in Starwhal, Available Now

Canadian developers Breakfall have unleashed their neon-drenched multiplayer combat game, Starwhal, onto both Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

The game originally had the subtitle “Just the Tip“, and it’s pretty clear that you’ll be using a whole lot of tip and possibly even shaft when lashing and forcefully penetrating your enemies as a space narwhal. You read that right, you play as a space narwhal.

You can play with up to four players locally via a traditional death match, where you flop the base of your pole around to propel you into specific directions, hopefully leading to you impaling your opponent with your ferocious rod.

Here are the game’s key features:

  • 4 player local multiplayer mayhem – 90+ costumes, 20+ arenas, and 4 game modes to duke it out with friends or AI players
  • 30+ single player Obstacle and Target challenges with leaderboards, ghost replays, and achievements
  • Successfully made it through Steam Early Access, shaping the game around the feedback from fans around the world
  • New radical graphic effects!
  • You can be a space narwhal wrapped in a burrito

Featured above, you can view the launch trailer of the game on Playstation, while it’s worth mentioning the game has been available on PC (via Steam) since September of last year. The original prototype for Starwhal was created in 48 hours with a focus entirely on local co-op fun.

Starwhal is currently available for both PS3 and PS4 for $11.99, a discount from the game’s usual $14.99 price. Playstation Plus members get an extra 20% discount as well.
