Genshin Impact Launches “Before October” on PC, Android and iOS; PS4 Closed Beta on July 30

Mihoyo has announced [1, 2] that action-RPG Genshin Impact will launch before October, 2020 on PC, Android, and iOS; along with a closed beta date for PlayStation 4.

As previously reported, the game is an open world action-RPG set in the world of Teyvat. Players are the Traveler, seeking their lost sibling. As you explore the world you meet many characters, beautiful vistas, and pummel foes in element-based combat.

It was also revealed that there will be another closed beta test on PlayStation 4 on July 30th, for those in North and South America. This is due to “limitations on the test platform and server regions.” The “invitation letters” will be sent out to the applicable players on July 29th at 6 p.m. UTC.

Genshin Impact launches before October, 2020 on Windows PC, Android, iOS, and 2020 on Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
