Gust is Merging with Koei Tecmo on October 1st

Koei Tecmo have announced that Gust, the developer known for the Ar Tonelico and Atelier series, will soon be fully assimilated into the parent company.

While Gust has been wholly owned by Koei Tecmo since December of 2011, they’ve still been somewhat of a separate, yet internal studio.

This will change on October 1st, when the Gust we’ve known will be no more, and will be rebranded as Gust Nagano Development Group.

Naturally, these changes are cited by Koei Tecmo as steps to further improve the operation of their business, and to aid in the smooth performance of their internal studios.
