Hoverboard roguelike Overrider gets gameplay trailer

OVERRIDER is a hoverboarding action-adventure roguelike, set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game has a strong focus on movement mechanics and is inspired by the likes of Tony Hawk, SSX, Sonic and Risk of Rain. Dreamteck has been working on the title since January 2022 and aims to deliver it in H2 2024 to PC, Playstation and Xbox.

Dreamteck announced that this fall OVERRIDER will be part of Steam Next Fest– a weeklong festival where demos of upcoming titles can be played directly on the platform. The demo will include a solid 30 minutes of gameplay and will be available on October 9th.

A Kickstarter campaign will launch on the same date and continue for 30 days. Using the funds, the team hopes to add more content to the game and tie loose ends.

Overrider will release a demo on October 9, 2023, as part of the Steam Next Fest event.

Overrider is coming at some point in 2024 to Microsoft Windows (through Steam).
