Hyperdimension Neptunia VII Has New Screenshots and a Release Date

Compile Heart have released new screenshots for their next Hyperdimension Neptunia title, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II. The new screenshots are featured below, along with the screens from last year.

Hyperdimension Neptunia VII will have a new battle system that has different combo structures than previous games. The gameplay will place strong emphasis on the positioning of characters, with Formation Skills actually requiring the characters to form, well, formations. Each goddess will have a “Next Form”, which is an additional transformation phase in addition to their existing goddess transformations, that will change their combat style.

Hyperdimension Neptunia VII will be a Playstation 4 exclusive. Its release date is set for April 23, 2015, in Japan. There has been no word of a localization for the West yet.
