Insane, Psychedelic, Music-Shooter Thumper Launches October 13

Independent developer Drool has announced the release date for their psychedelic, trippy, music-shooter Thumper.

The debut title from the former-Harmonix developers will launch on October 13th for both PC and PlayStation 4.

The game will cost $19.99 on both platforms, and will support PlayStation VR on PlayStation 4 – which is launching on the same day. Both releases are digital-only.

If you’re looking for something a bit more tangible, however, Drool is partnering with iam8bit to release a collector’s edition, which comes with a PlayStation 4 or PC game code, the complete digital soundtrack, and a picture disc vinyl soundtrack. Setting you back $45, pre-orders for the collector’s edition go up on June 30th at 9 AM Pacific / 12 PM Eastern.
