Publisher Skybound Games and developer Quarter Up announced another character for the base roster in Invincible VS with Rex Splode.

Here’s a blurb on the character, plus a new trailer:

A former member of the Teen Team and the Guardians of the Globe, Rex Splode is known for his explosive powers and his talent for annoying everyone around him. In Invincible VS, Rex’s mobility, combat skills and exploding projectiles will give players the flexibility to keep opponents at a distance while waiting for combo openings or charging right at them from a low/overhead mixup. His explosives can be delayed to set up traps or detonated instantly to extend combos and ramp up pressure.

Invincible VS is in development for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a release set for 2026.
