Developer Ocean Drive Studio has announced Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is getting a closed beta test to finally try out the game sometime soon.

Their new spinoff strategy RPG has closed beta sign-ups available over on its Steam page. Visitors to PAX East 2024 can try the beta out this weekend as well.

Here’s a rundown on the new beta/demo, plus a trailer:

  • The first of three Acts slated for release at Early Access launch, complete with a gripping storyline, prologue, and tutorial.
  • Five challenging combat scenarios, including one epic mini boss.
  • Random, chance-based events between combat scenarios to either aid or hinder players.
  • A diverse array of roguelike skills and upgrades with varying power and rarity.
  • Both session-based buffs and persistent progression elements.
  • Nine distinct characters to choose from, to deploy in your five-character party.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) in early access, after which it’ll get console ports for Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5.
