Mortal Kombat X is Announced

After lots of teasing, Ed Boon and NetheRealm Studios have finally confirmed the next game in the Mortal Kombat series.

Titled Mortal Kombat X, you can see a teaser trailer for the game above, in the debut teaser trailer. The CGI trailer shows returning fan-favorites Scorpion and Sub-Zero fighting to the death.

The song in the trailer is “Can’t Be Stopped” by Wiz Khalifa. The description for the trailer mentions that the game is “fueled by next-gen technology” and that it “combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay.”

The game is coming in 2015. Platforms haven’t been announced yet. We’ll keep you updated.
