Nintendo has announced that Best Buy is going to host the qualifying rounds of their upcoming relaunch of the Nintendo World Championships.
A total of eight Best Buy locations across the United States are going to host the championships this year. The qualifying competition is going down on May 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 PM, and it will feature the Championship mode of Ultimate NES Remix for 3DS.
For those unaware of what this entails, players will be tasked with completing a series of score-based challenges involving the classic games Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and Dr. Mario. Whoever comes out on top at each Best Buy location will move onto the final event in Los Angeles, where a multi-round competition will be held involving unannounced Nintendo games.
