Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is Region Free in North and South America

Atlus has confirmed that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is going to be region-free when it launches in North and South America this fall.

This means that even if the game doesn’t get an official release in your home country, you can still pay those import+shipping fees and import it anyway – whether it’s on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.

When the game launches sometime this fall, Atlus has also confirmed that it will have identical box art as the Japanese release, which is pretty damn awesome.

Lastly, all pre-orders and first-run editions of the game are coming with a Teddie bop bag, a #1 set of Persona Tarot Cards (set #2 is coming with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth), as well as the Tohru Adachi character DLC.
