It seems like the conclusion to the epic Shenmue saga is finally coming, at long last – SEGA has trademarked Shenmue III in Europe.

The trademark was filed yesterday under “computer game programs; computer game software; video game software”, among other uses.

Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki is actually holding a postmortem talk regarding the series next year at GDC, so perhaps that’s when we’ll be seeing the reveal?

Don’t play with my heart, SEGA.
