Publisher Sega and developer Lizardcube announced a demo for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, their 2023-announced 2D action platformer set in the classic franchise.

The new playable demo for the brand new entry in the classic action series is now available for PC and consoles.

Here’s a rundown on the demo, plus a new trailer:

Play an enhanced version of the first stage, Oboro Village. Master the way of the shinobi, execute the ninja arts with precision, and journey through a stylized world. Enjoy a thrilling challenge with enhanced ninja abilities, greater enemy variety, unlocked hidden paths and a modified shop system. Once you’ve conquered the stage, push your skills further by replaying it in Arcade Mode and aim for the highest score.

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5 with a release set for August 29th.
