Konami has announced Silent Hill: Ascension during their Silent Hill Transmission.

The new spinoff will be developed by Bad Robot Games in collaboration with Genvid, Behavior, and DJ2 Entertainment. Famed director JJ Abrams is also attached to the project as the director.

The upcoming game takes the concept of livestreaming and will have players taking part in a story where decisions mean life or death. Here’s the first trailer:

Ascension will come out some time in 2023. No platforms were announced, but it appears the game will likely be a browser based title.
