Konami has shared a new trailer for Suikoden STAR LEAP showing off battles in their new entry in the beloved Japanese RPG franchise.

Here’s a rundown on the game’s battle systems, plus the trailer:

Normal Battle

This game employs a timeline turn based battle​ system. A highly strategic battle in which players choose from three types of actions: normal attacks, runes and special techniques to fight together with their allies.

War mode

A real-time strategy system in which both enemies and allies units move simultaneously. Command your troops and lead them to victory while keeping an eye on the situation.

Party edit

Up to six players can be set in the front and back rows. Characters from previous numbered titles in the Suikoden series can also be used.

Suikoden STAR LEAP is in development for Windows PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android as a free-to-play game.
