Nintendo has announced worldwide sales for the Super NES Classic Edition have topped 5.28 million units.
The news comes via their latest financial results, where the new milestone was reached as of March 31st.
The throwback console re-release had reached four million units sold as of January, confirming the console sold an additional 1.28 million in that time frame.
Nintendo first launched the console back in October of last year in Japan, and in September of last year for North America and Europe.
