Three Trailers for Toukiden: Kiwami’s New Characters, Weapons, and Battle Styles

Koei Tecmo have released three new videos for Toukiden: Kiwami, the upgraded version of the monster-hunting game, Toukiden: The Age of Demons. (If you’re wondering how the original game holds up against this update, you can have a look at comparison screenshots here.) For more information on the gameworld, and the new characters, weapons, and demons, click through to these two articles.

Toukiden: Kiwami will be available for the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita on 27 March in Europe, and March 31 in North America.

New characters

We’re properly introduced to Souma, Reki, and Horou, characters created especially for this new version of the game; and are re-introduced to the three demon hunters from the original game, Kyokai, Rinne, and Kuyou.

New weapons

This trailer highlights the weapons available in the game, which include the naginata, club, rifle, sword, gauntlets, a chain and sickle, spear, knives, and the bow. The game will also include a new finishing move, the “United Destroyer”.

New battle styles

As the video above explains, two new battle styles, Support and Plunder, will be coming to the game, and add to the existing eight (Attack, Defense, Healing, Deceit, Speed, Spirit, Space, and Luck).
