UnderMine 2, a sequel to the obviously named UnderMine has been officially announced!

The original UnderMine is a roguelite adventure where players delve into the titular mine and collect gold and powerups leading to the overall progression of the player. The mine is procedurally generated, making some runs easier.

The new game seems to feature many of the same mechanics, adventuring through a mine with random power-ups to be found. A new inclusion is a new type of character, a girl wearing a bunny-eared hood. You can check out the UnderMine 2 trailer below.

The sequel was announced as part of the recent Triple-i Initiative showcase. the Triple-i Initiative is a project created by multiple indie devs in order to showcase upcoming projects in the indie game sphere.
