3D pixel co-op survival adventure game Wildekin announced

Wildekin

Publisher Chucklefish and developer Cute Newt have announced Wildekin, a cute 3D pixel-art co-op crafting and survival adventure game.

Wildekin is in development for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, with a release set for 2026.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:

Wildekin is a 3D pixel-art adventure where up to 4 friends can build, explore, survive and thrive—or at least try to before some creature tries to turn you into a light snack!

Features

  • Explore the Wilderness
    • Team up for a chaotic adventure together with online co-op for up to 4 players
    • Plot a course to explore new islands, and garb yourself in the right gear to survive in each environment
    • Fight monsters, loot treasure, and steal sea charts from bosses to unlock even stranger lands
    • Use weapons, gizmos, and your wits to navigate dungeons and their deadly puzzles!
  • Build up Your Beastly Utopia
    • Construct, decorate, and micromanage your village like a tiny, furry dictator – or errm.. “town planner”
    • Don your builder’s hat and redesign the layout of your town as and when you like
    • Craft gear, grow crops and arrange furniture—because nothing says “I live here” like a crafting station randomly placed in the middle of your town.
    • Assign jobs to rescued Wildekin so that they can help revitalise the town (they’ll thank you… probably)
    • Build stores such as a forge, a workshop and the Inventorium Emporium to aid you in your adventuring, or just open a music shop if you’re looking to start a tonally-challenged tribute band
  • Socialize Like a Pro (Or At Least Try)
    • Befriend Wildekin with unique personalities and strong opinions on turnips
    • Allow yourself to be judged by your neighbours by taking part in contests and seasonal events
    • Complete billboard requests because nothing says “local hero” like fetching someone’s lost socks from a volcano dungeon
